Christmas morning, Reed slept in until 8:30.
He was excited to see what Santa brought him.
As soon as he saw all of the presents, his first
comment was about the bike, which he calls
a motorcycle. Our present opening lasted for
a long time because he wanted to play with each
toy after opening it. After opening his presents
from Santa, he wasn't very interested in opening
the presents from us. Overall, we had a wonderful
Christmas morning. He liked just about everything.
Presents from Santa

Peeking around the corner to see what Santa brought him.

"It's a motorcycle!"

He went straight for his bike.

Taking the bike for a quick spin.

Opening his first present from Santa. He
was pumped about getting a Buzz Lightyear.
All he wanted to do was play with Buzz. We
had to make him put Buzz down and open
more presents.

He really liked the Cars Tractor Tippin' track.
He played with that all morning.

He wasn't too impressed with Leo's wand
from the Little Einsteins.

Now, it was time for him to open his presents from us.

He had a hard time with the gold wrapping paper.

Working hard to open the barn.

Stocking time...

Digging deep into his stocking.

He was excited about the giant candy cane.

He also loved his MSU football. He knew
exactly what team it was.

After opening his presents, Daddy went upstairs
to finish blowing up the Giga ball. Reed
was super excited to play with the huge ball!

Reed & Woody having a blast in the ball.

Later that morning, we decorated our "Happy
Birthday Jesus" cake.

Reed did such a great job putting the M & M's
and sprinkles on the cake. He cracked me up
because he had to eat one M & M for every one
he put on the cake.

"Cheese!"
Day 25 Surprise
Going to the tree for his last surprise.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we
try to make sure that we give him something
that has to do with the true meaning of Christmas.
This year, he got an Away in the Manger book.
He looked at the book and said "It's baby Jesus!"
He's so smart!

Taking the book to show Daddy.

Daddy reading the book to Reed.

Every once in a while, Reed would point
to the pictures and say who/what they were.

He especially liked pointing to the picture of himself. There was a place in the book that says "Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, and fit us for Heaven to live with Thee there."

There's Reed.
Below are some videos from Christmas morning:
