THANKSGIVING 2008

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving
spent with family and friends.
Wednesday, we went to Duncan
and stayed the night with the McMurchy clan.
We had a delicious Thanksgiving meal,
and Reed played so hard.

Reed is obsessed with pulling his socks off.

He had a blast building a tower with the blocks
then knocking it down.
Gran had Reed laughing so hard. They both would
take one end of the slinky and pull it in opposite directions.
Then, Reed would let go and die out laughing.
He was so funny!

He was showing out big time!

Gran is so funny!

Heartbreaker!

Thursday morning, we met Lala at the landing.
We had to wait for a few minutes until the boats
arrived to take us over to Big Island.

For those of you, who do not know, Big Island
is a hunting camp in Arkansas that we used to
be members of. We have celebrated many Thanksgivings
at Big Island with some of our close family friends.

He was so excited!

Waiting for the boats

Reed wanted to touch the water so bad...

So, his daddy let him!

Reed and Lala had a big time throwing
rocks into the river.

Here comes one of the boats to pick us up!

I absolutely love this picture. His eyes
are so beautiful in this picture.

Reed sat still the entire boat ride across
the river. He did so good!

As soon as we got to the Hunting Camp,
Reed spotted this Rhino and had to get inside
it to play.

He was bound and determined to go for a ride.

He discovered the dog cages and had
a blast playing in them.

Reed finally got his wish. He got to ride on
the Rhino down to the sandbar. He also
rode on the four-wheeler with Lala and Chet,
which he absolutely loved.

We came back home Thursday afternoon.
On Friday, we went and bought a Christmas
tree. Reed woke up from his nap ready to help
decorate for Christmas.

Daddy was putting the lights on the tree, and
Reed climbed the step stool behind Daddy to help.

He was such a big helper! They did a
great job putting the lights on the tree.

On Saturday, we got up and went to
Booneville to spend some time with the
Simpson clan! It was a short visit
but a great one.

We are so incredibly blessed to have such a
wonderful, loving family. We enjoy every
minute spent with family.
We love each and every one of you!

I hate we didn't see much of yall while you were here. I did go and hold Reed for a little during Sunday School, (even though I had to sneek out of my 2 year old room for a little). It was worth it. Can't wait until Christmas to see yall. Love Yall!
