Countdown to Christmas - Day 1

Every year, we do our own kind of countdown to Christmas. Since there is now two kiddos, they take turns getting a surprise from the pocket. On the 25th, they both get a surprise in the pocket!

Since Reed is the oldest, he got the first surprise out of the Day 1 pocket.

Reed looks at the tree every morning when he wakes up to see if there is something in the pocket. If it isn't his day, he tells Chase that there is a surprise in the pocket! He also finds our Elf, Jingle, every morning as well.

Reaching for his surprise...

It's a glow-in-the-dark Iron Man symbol!

He couldn't wait to put it on! I was afraid it was going to be a fight when it was time to go to school, but it wasn't. He took it off, then put it back on as soon as he got home!
