Every day, Reed had the same routine in the pool. He would walk until he couldn't touch any more, then he would make us hold him while he swam to the ladder. He would kick and move his arms as fast as he could the whole way to the ladder.
Thursday night, we went to Captain Daves to eat. Towards the end of the meal, Reed was ready to go bye, bye. So, I took him down to the beach while everyone finished eating. At first, he was not interested in touching the sand, but I finally convinced him to walk to the water. He first started to just get his feet wet, then he wanted to go deeper and deeper.
Needless to say, both Momma & Reed got pretty wet, but it didn't matter because he loved it! The best part is that he actually walked in the sand all the way back to the car! Here is the proof: (Look at those dirty feet!)
(Reed has a sucker in his mouth!)
I think Pop enjoyed the ride as much as Reed.
Lexi & Reed on the train.
He rode these planes 4 or 5 times.
Lexi & Reed on the 1st flight.
Reed acted like he was really flying the plane.
He loved it when they would go up high.
a picture of him smiling.
He loved being in the front.
There he goes...

Reed crying because he was being impatient. He was ready to ride the planes right then and didn't understand why he had to wait in line.

This was his last plane ride. After each ride was over, we would go to get him out, and he would say "I ride more plane!" The lady was sweet and just let us leave him in the plane for 3 rides in a row.

Friday morning, Pop & Daddy went to play golf, so Momma decided to take Reed & Lexi to the beach since we'd just been hanging out at the pool every day. WOW! Momma was exhausted when we got back to the condo. It was way too much work!

He still wasn't crazy about the sand, but he decided to take a few steps by himself.
He loved the ocean. He would either call it the "Ocean" or the "Big Water!"
He loved to stand there while the waves hit his feet.

He thought his shadow was pretty neat!

Thought this was a neat picture.

Later that afternoon, Pop, Daddy, Lexi, Momma, & Reed went back to the beach.
Having fun in the "Big Water!"

(He wasn't in the mood for a picture. Can you tell?)
Friday night, we went to the Destin Commons. We ate supper at the Hard Rock Cafe, then went to the playground area. Reed was super excited when he saw the fountains! We were prepared and brought a bathing suit, so he could play in the water! He was one happy little camper!

Watching the water!
Loved this picture.
He loved for it to squirt right in his face.

Waiting for the water again...

Lexi & Reed running through the water.
This is a very cool picture that Daddy took!
Lexi was soaking wet!
Lexi & Reed waiting for more water.

The Destin Commons also had this cool wooden train. When Reed spotted it, I knew he was going to have to ride it.

Saturday morning, Pop & Uncle Benjie took Reed, Lexi & Peyton to fly a kite on the beach. Thanks for taking this picture Uncle Benjie.
We tried our best to get a picture of the Gapen grandchildren, but of course, Reed did not want to cooperate! We are 0 for 2 right now!
Reed had so much fun with Peyton. Reed would call him "Peyt!" Peyton & Lexi were both great entertainment for Reed. Peyton & his Daddy were pretending to "Rassle," and Reed thought it was hilarious. He would laugh so hard as long as he knew they were just playing.
This picture is of Reed chasing Peyton around the condo. He was dying out laughing the whole time.

Saturday night, we let Reed swim one last time. He absolutely adored the pool.

Reed loved the mushroom fountain. He wasn't scared to get his face wet.
