POTTY TRAINING 101

WOW! This potty training business is exhausting!

Tonight, we had to "go potty" about 10 times,

but did he actually ever go potty?

He would pull and tug until we asked if he

had to go potty, then he'd run to the potty and

try to climb onto the potty. He would grunt,

pull off some toilet paper, throw it in the potty,

then get off and flush the potty.

So, to answer the question above...

NOPE! He never actually used the potty,

but boy, did he have fun pretending!

We also had a traumatic experience this evening.

Reed was sitting upstairs by the tv, pressing

all of the buttons on the dvd player. He

put his hand out to stand up and somehow managed to

fall and hit his ear on the dvd player.

OUCH!

Reed has never really cried for long when he's

gotten hurt, but he sure did tonight. He cried

harder than I think he ever has.

Not only did he have this swollen, bruised ear,

but he also had a huge knot behind his ear.

He's a trooper though!
