WEEKEND AT THE SHOALS

This past weekend, we went to

Muscle Shoals, AL to visit with family.

Friday afternoon, Uncle Benjie, Aunt

Tina, & Peyton came over to play in

the pool with us.

Our hotel had an awesome

pool. The pool had a water slide, waterfalls,

and all kinds of neat things.

Reed fell in love with the water slide.

He would go down the slide with

either Daddy or Momma, then he

would get out of the pool and run

to the bridge to go back down the slide.

Uncle Benjie, Aunt Tina, & Peyton

decided to stay the night with us. YEAH!

We went out to eat that night, and Reed

feel asleep on the way to the restaurant.

He slept halfway through the meal,

then he caught his second wind.

He was ready to party when we got

back to the hotel.

Reed had a routine.

He would stick either his foot or hand

in this water sprinkler before heading

to the bridge, which led him to the SLIDE!

He would do the same thing every time.

Saturday morning, Pop & Nani came.
Pop & Daddy went to play golf,
and we went to eat brunch with
the Houstons. It rained Friday night,
so the pool water was COLD!
Reed and I played in the pool
with Peyton for a little bit, then
it was nap time!
The Houstons left that afternoon,
and we all went out to eat at
a wonderful Italian restaurant.
Then, we did a little shopping.

Pop & Nani bought Reed a work

bench to play with in the hotel.

It definitely entertained him,

and it actually entertained us

trying to put the thing together.

Uncle Benjie and Momma worked

hard trying to put it together

without a hammer. Uncle

Benjie had the bright idea to use

a glass to hammer with. We thought

Nani was going to pass out. She

was afraid the glass was going to

break, and to be honest, so was I!

He was dying to play with his new work bench.

Thanks Uncle Benjie for putting it

together for me. You are awesome!

Now, I can help Daddy with all

of his projects around the house!

We went to Cracker Barrel for brunch.

While we waited for a table,

Reed fell in love with this caterpillar.

He would stand up and ride it

like he was riding a horse.

He was too cute on it!

Believe it or not, Momma actually

left there without buying it!

Aren't you impressed?

After we went out to eat Saturday night,

we went to the mall to do a little shopping.

Reed rode on a police car, helicopter and some

other little vehicle.

to bed, Reed ran to the door

looking for him.

shoulders when he can't

find something...

Sunday morning, we decided to

play in the pool one more time.

So, of course, that meant going down

the slide at least ten more times.

Reed really did love that water slide!

Again...Again...

He was one happy little boy!

He had to stop at the water sprinklers first.

Now, back over the bridge and

heading for the slide...

I want to go again!!!
