4 Months Old

It's hard to believe that Chase turned 4 months old yesterday. He is growing up so fast! Of course, we had to celebrate his 4 month birthday.

"Mommy, give me one of those cupcakes!"

He's a big boy!

One of my favorite times with Chase is after his bath. He smells so good and is always in such a good mood. He loves bath time.

This morning, we decided to try and feed Chase some rice cereal with a spoon since he is a big 4 month old now. This picture was taken before he started eating.

He wasn't quite sure what I was putting in his mouth.

He didn't seem to really care for it at first and wasn't sure what he thought about the spoon. We only did a few bites because he wasn't very hungry. We'll try again tomorrow morning.

Chase's favorite things:

~He loves the fan.
~He adores watching his big brother. We always know when he's looking at Reed because he has a certain look he uses when looking at his big brother.
~He loves to smile.
~He loves to eat.
~He loves his elephant & frog on his car seat.
~He loves looking in the mirror (He's his daddy's son)!
~He loves blowing bubbles. It's his newest trick!

What has Chase been doing lately?

~He loves to try and sit up. He tries his best to sit straight up in his car seat.
~He can still roll over from his belly to his back, but he hasn't even tried to roll over from his back to his tummy.
~He scoots around while playing on the floor.
~He can just about pick up anything in arm's reach. Yesterday, I was on the computer, and he picked up my pen!
~He loves to rub his head & hair while he eats.
~He doesn't like for people to talk while feeding him. He wants your 100% attention.
~He loves to stand while holding your hands.
~And, he loves to hold your hands.

Our Chunky Monkey

Trying his best to sit up on his own. If you let go of him, he stays up but slumps over halfway.

Scooting off his blanket. If he's on a mission, he'll scoot until he gets where he wants to be.

Talking to Mommy. He makes so many sweet sounds.

Completely satisfied lying on his back. He doesn't even try to roll over.

I have a picture just like this of Reed. Reed loved this Zebra, and Chase does too. Chase and the Zebra have many conversations.

"Hey Mommy!"

He amazes us every day. I love to watch him discover new things! He is such a sweet baby!
