Navarre Beach Trip - August 2012

We left on August 4th and headed down to Navarre Beach, FL for a week long beach trip.  Lala & Tom met us there.  I'm very proud to say that we actually stayed for the entire week!  Everything about the vacation was perfect!  I took entirely too many pictures, so there are a ton on here.  Enjoy!

We made it!  Both boys were complete angels on the 8 hour drive!

Our first morning there, Lala & Reed headed down to the beach before everyone else was up.

Chase wasn't crazy about having sand on his hands.

Reed went straight to the water.

Chase took his time making his way to the ocean.

He liked putting his feet in the water but wouldn't go any further without Mom or Dad.

Reed has always been a water baby!

They even convinced Daddy to let them bury him.

One day, we decided to go to the Navarre Beach Pier. I'm SO glad we did.

After the pier, we headed to the park to play. The park was so neat.

This was probably Reed's favorite part of the whole trip!

He was a PRO!

He went down this slide at least 50 times or more. We were there for 1.5 hours!

His cheering audience...He would get off the slide and run back to go again.

He even convinced Momma to go down it with him.

It was a lot of fun!

It wasn't even that sunny, but they both had their 'squinted eye look' going on in these pictures!

Can you tell that they are clinching their teeth and yelling "Cheese?" They were tired of pictures by this point.

Once Chase figured out how to use his plastic beach toys, he was hooked.

He cracked me up with his bucket of water to clean his hands.

We spent our last day at the Big Kahuna Water Park in Destin.

Reed absolutely ADORES water slides.  This is a cool pic.

Chase had fun playing in all the kiddie stuff.

When we got back to Navarre Beach, we went down to the beach for a little more 'sand' time since it was our last day.  My camera was still pretty fogged up from the water park, so excuse the quality of these next few pictures.

We built a Super Hero City for some of our super heroes.
