Oklahoma City Trip

Lala and Tom took the boys to Oklahoma City to stay with Grandmomma. Their flight over was definitely an adventure. The weather was bad in Oklahoma City on the day they left, so they had to fly an hour out of the storm's path. Thankfully, Chase took a nap on the plane, and they landed in OKC safely.

Grandmomma bought the boys a big bag of rocks, so they could throw them in the lake. Both Chase and Reed had a big time throwing rocks in the lake.

Our relaxing trip came to an end when we landed in Memphis and found out the boys' flight had been cancelled due to tornadoes in and around Oklahoma City. Not only did their flight get cancelled, but the airport had to be evacuated. They had to go into the tunnels under the airport. We are so thankful that Lala & Tom took such good care of our boys. We are also incredibly thankful that Uncle John got out in the terrible weather to go pick them up from the airport and drop them back off safely at Grandmomma's house.

Thanks to everyone in Oklahoma City for entertaining our boys, and a BIG thank you to Lala & Tom! We were very glad to get them back home safely!
