REED'S NEW CAR GARAGE!

Grandmomma, who Reed now calls La La, came to visit us this past week. We had such a good time with La La. Reed always plays so hard when she's here.

Here is a picture of La La reading a new book to Reed:

We made a trip to Target to get a few things, and La La couldn't resist this car garage, so she got it for Reed. He absolutely loves it! He plays with it every day.

When we got home from Target, Momma had to put it together. Reed went and got his tools (that Nani and Pop got him) and brought them in the kitchen to help Momma. It was so sweet! Momma finally finished putting the garage together! It was Reed's bedtime, but we decided to let him stay up to play with it for a few minutes. A few minutes turned into at least thirty minutes.

He was so funny with it because he wanted to learn everything the garage would do. He studied everything on the garage so hard. In some of the pictures, you can see how serious he was by the expressions on his face.

Reed really worked and worked with the car elevator. He learned how to pull the elevator up and how to push it down.
Reed loved watching the cars come down the slide. He also liked switching the people in the cars.
Playing with the elevator some more. He was so determined.
Checking out the gas pump.
Studying the elevator some more.
He figured it out! Check out his expression!

The next night, look what else Reed learned how to do with his new car garage.
We were in the kitchen, and Reed was in the living room saying "Uh oh!" We walked in the living room, and this is what he was doing...

He climbed on top of the garage, then jumped off into Daddy's arms. I wish I could say that he only did it once, but he didn't. He did it several times!!!
Wednesday night, we were outside playing, and Chris hollared at us to come in the front yard. We walked through the gate, and Chris said "Look!"

There was a bunny snuggled up next to our fence. Of course, Reed was dying to touch it, so he ran over to it, and it took off running into our garage. The poor bunny was scared to death. It took us a while to find the bunny, but when we did, it took off running as fast as it could out of the garage and into our neighbor's yard. Reed was so fascinated!

I LOVED the post! Fantastic way to start out my Monday morning!
I love "La La." That's a perfect name for her!
I love it when you post things showing Reed's intelligence. He gets all that from me. Thanks.

Hey Erin!

Camp has a car garage just like that and he loves it! He's had it for about a year now and I think it's the only toy that he hasn't gotten bored with after a while. He's spent many many hours playing with it! Something about little boys and cars. Reed is adorable!!
