Mississippi Children's Museum

A couple of weeks ago, we had to go to Jackson for a big business dinner.  We invited Gran to go with us, so she could watch the boys while we went to dinner.  Saturday morning, we woke up and headed to the Children's Museum.  It is unbelievable.  I highly recommend it to anyone that goes to Jackson.

The boys loved the big tug boat!

Fishing for Catfish on the Mighty Mississippi River.

Gran put on a skunk tail and chased the boys in the cave.

She made a really cute skunk!

Reed loved playing with the skeleton.

Daddy & Chase making the skeleton ride a bike.

This was by far the boys' favorite thing.  It was a play area that showed kids how the digestive system works.  It started with a mouth and ended with a potty flushing. Hilarious!

They died out laughing every time they went down the slide, and the toilet flushed.

A better picture of the toilet.

It's Reed in the river.

Chase loved shopping at the Fresh Market.  He would fill his bag up, then scan the items, then put them back in the right places.

Chase digging for dinosaur bones.

Chase's turn in the river.

Fishing for Catfish.

It isn't as easy as it looks.  You have to catch it with the magnet in its mouth.

He got one!!

Reed trying to catch a catfish.

He got one too!

Reed working the crane.

Chase milking a cow.

Chase on top of the barn
