Oklahoma City

Reed was out of school for two days on President's Day weekend, so we headed to Oklahoma City to spend some much needed time with family. We spent the long weekend relaxing in front of a fire, while visiting with everyone.

Reed & Chase bonded big time with Grandmomma. Chase has learned to say her name so good! It was a wonderful weekend that we hated to see end!

Chase helping Grandmomma build a fire.

Reed was a big helper too. They loved the fire! We roasted marshmallows and made delicious s'mores too!
Watching Grandmomma light the fire was super cool.

Reed & Grandmomma spent a lot of time reading books to each other.

In these pictures, he's telling her who every super hero is.
I love this! While we were there, Daddy worked on some projects around the house. His biggest project was to hook up Grandmomma's new ice maker! Chase was a big helper, and Daddy did an excellent job!
One afternoon, Reed taught Uncle John on how to play his super hero games on Grandmomma's computer.
While we were there, I got to meet my friend's baby. She is so sweet and so tiny!

Reed, Chase, Kim, Hadley & Mommy.
(My boys had just gotten out of the bath, which is why their hair is slicked back!)

Mommy & HadleyThe boys had a blast playing in the backyard.

They loved the storm shelter!

Chase kept stealing Grandmomma's chair. He thought he was big stuff!
We had such a wonderful time!

Monday was entirely to quiet. Left the few toys just where they were just so I could see them and all the fun we had. looking forward to the next time and, maybe, it will be warm enough to get a little canoeing in and some playing on the surf board. much fun ahead. grandmama
