Navarre Beach Trip

Last weekend, we went on a quick beach trip to Navarre Beach with Didi & Nana. I think we have found a new place to vacation. We practically had the beach to ourselves the entire weekend. It was so nice!

As soon as we got to the house, the boys were ready to go check out the beach!

Saturday afternoon, Nana's brother came over and brought a wave-runner for us to play on. Reed was so excited and couldn't wait to ride the "little boat!"

Chase thought he was big stuff in the water. He kept wanting to swim all by himself.

While we were playing on the wave-runner, we noticed this huge water slide. Reed & I went to check it out. He could pay $3.00 for one turn or $10.00 for 30 minutes on the slide.

We checked it out, then went to pick up Daddy & Chase. The man was very nice and let Reed go down the slide once for free to see if he liked it.

Verdict: He LOVED it!
So, we went for the $10.00 option!

One late afternoon, Daddy took the boys back down to the beach to play.

Reed loved the ocean. He spent most of his time playing in the water with either a boogie board or float.

Chase noticed me on the stairs, so he had to come see what I was up to...

Didi & Mommy had the bright idea of giving the boys their baths outside. I grabbed some soap and shampoo...It was so much easier this way. Plus, the boys loved it!

Chase kicked me out of the rocker. He thought he was big stuff, as always!

So of course, they had to do it several more times.

Friday night, we went out to eat and had cake afterwards to celebrate Kellie's birthday.

She had trick candles on her cake.

The boys loved watching her try to blow out her candles...over and over again.
