Last weekend, we went on a quick beach trip to Navarre Beach with Didi & Nana. I think we have found a new place to vacation. We practically had the beach to ourselves the entire weekend. It was so nice!
As soon as we got to the house, the boys were ready to go check out the beach!
Didi helping the boys build a sand castle. However, the boys were more into stepping on the castle!

Catching some waves...
Chase decided he wanted to check out the water too!

Playing in the sand some more...
Day 2 - Up bright and early...ready to play!

Chase telling me to "Come on!"
Working hard

Attempting to build another sand castle...
Waiting for their turn to ride...
Playing on the Bay side of Navarre Beach.
Reed getting ready to ride the wave-runner.
Waiting for Didi to get on...

Off they go...
(Video is on the bottom of this post!)
Reed & Didi coming back to the beach. Reed had a blast on the wave-runner!
Chase thought he was big stuff in the water. He kept wanting to swim all by himself.
Trying to make his escape...

Finally, Daddy let him go....Happy Boy!!!

While we were playing on the wave-runner, we noticed this huge water slide. Reed & I went to check it out. He could pay $3.00 for one turn or $10.00 for 30 minutes on the slide.
We checked it out, then went to pick up Daddy & Chase. The man was very nice and let Reed go down the slide once for free to see if he liked it.
Verdict: He LOVED it!
So, we went for the $10.00 option!
Reed going down the slide for the first time!
All we heard was sweet laughter!
Grinning from cheek to cheek.

Check out the videos at the bottom of this post. Daddy & Mommy both took Chase down the slide too. Reed went down several times. He had a blast!
One late afternoon, Daddy took the boys back down to the beach to play.
(Chase had just woken up from his afternoon nap.)
Chase wanted to chase the birds, so...
they did!
Daddy & Chase

Reed loved the ocean. He spent most of his time playing in the water with either a boogie board or float.
Catching some waves with Daddy!

Chase noticed me on the stairs, so he had to come see what I was up to...
Chase kicked me out of the rocker. He thought he was big stuff, as always!
Reed doing his Iron Man pose.

Chase put the water hose in his mouth, and Reed couldn't resist it....
He cut it on!
Both boys thought it was hilarious.
So of course, they had to do it several more times.

I love these two boys!
Soaked with water and having a ball!

Friday night, we went out to eat and had cake afterwards to celebrate Kellie's birthday.
She had trick candles on her cake.

The boys loved watching her try to blow out her candles...over and over again.

Ready for cake!
Sweet boy!

Enjoy the videos of the wave-runner ride and big slide:
