Reed had a tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy on March 10th. His doctor told us the recovery period would be about 10 days. By Day 7, Reed was much better. He was such a trooper the entire time. He never complained once and was one tough little cookie!
Wednesday night, Lala came up to spend the night with us, so she could watch Chase Thursday morning while we were at Le Bonheur. She brought Reed a surprise from Grandmomma.

Opening his surprise from Grandmomma.

It's a Fantastic Four book!

Telling Lala all about it. Thanks Grandmomma!

Opening his surprise from Lala & Tom.

It's a MobiGo. It was perfect for the waiting room, and he takes it everywhere with him! Thanks Lala & Tom!

Thursday morning, we woke up bright and early and headed to the hospital. Reed was such a trooper. He couldn't have anything to eat or drink, but he never once complained. In the waiting room, Daddy & Mommy gave him a surprise.

Opening his surprise...

It's a Super Hero Squad game for his MobiGo.

Reed had a successful surgery. After his surgery, his doctor came in and said that Reed's tonsils were almost the size of a golf ball. He said Reed did great, and that we would get to see him soon. They brought us back to Reed within minutes. When Reed woke up, he ate a popsicle and started playing with the toy that he picked out before going into surgery. I knew then, he was going to be fine.
When we got home, we set him up on the couch and gave him another surprise.

He was excited when he saw the Super Hero Squad logo. He got a Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man.

He loved the coloring book too.

A little later that morning, he received a package from Pop & Nani.

He couldn't wait to dig in.

He was so excited to see two Super Hero Squad dvds!

It made his day for sure! We've watched those dvds 1,000 times so far!

Seeing what else is in the box...

He found some Moon Dough, Mega Mind dvd and a Superman coloring book. Thanks Nani & Pop for all of the goodies. They definitely kept him entertained.

Gran came up to spend Tuesday and Wednesday night with us. She was so much fun, and I swear Reed instantly felt better when she got here. He even convinced her to play the Wii with him!

I'm not sure who enjoyed having her here more: the boys or me!

We can't thank everyone enough for all of the thoughts, prayers and goodies that helped Reed recover so fast! We love all of you!
