Mother's Day Weekend

Lala, Reed, Chase & I all headed to Oklahoma City on Mother's Day Weekend.  It was a very quick trip but a great one!

Cameron reading the Avengers' book to Reed & Chase.

Grandmomma & Reed

Aunt Debbie & Reed

Reed standing by the lake.

The boys had a big time playing by the lake.

Chase loved chasing the baby ducks.

Reed playing in the dirt & water.

Chase loved throwing rocks in the water.

Reed checking out the dock & canoe.

Cameron became Reed's big buddy!  The boys had a blast with him.

They even showed Danielle some attention too.

Reed didn't want to open his present from the Buntz clan, so he carried it to Lala to open.

Lala opening the present for Reed.

Chase helped too.  They were excited to see a Captain America shield.

They loved the Spider-man ball toy too!

Danielle showing Chase how to use it.

He's a pro!

Chase getting tickled by Preston.

Time to go fishing!

Reed had a blast fishing.  He caught 7 one day and 4 the next day.

The first fish of the day.

Reed even touched it.

He caught another one!

Helping throw one of his fish back into the water.

Chase's turn!

He caught 4 the first day and 6 the next day.

He was very intense and could reel them in all by himself.

He was so excited when he caught his first fish!

Taking a picture with his first fish of the day!

Touching the fish (look at his tongue)!

His facial expression after touching the fish cracked me up!

Reed's turn again.

Chase getting an up-close look at one of his fish.

Uncle John tried to get him to kiss the fish!  He said "No way!" Love this picture!

Mommy & Chase catching another fish!

A few videos of the boys fishing:

Reed & Chase giving me a Mother's Day present.

I loved the plate Reed made for me.

Showing the plate to Chase.

Momma with her two sweet boys!  I love these two boys!

Cameron & Danielle took the boys for a canoe ride while Uncle John cooked hamburgers.

The whole family:  Aunt Debbie, Uncle John, Conner, Uncle George, Preston, Cameron, Lala, Momma, Chase, Grandmomma, Reed & Danielle

This goose would have eaten bread out of the boys hands. He wasn't scared of them at all. Here are some videos of the boys feeding the goose:

These pictures are a bit out of order.  All of these pictures are from Saturday:

Look how close this goose would get to the boys.

Having a ball!

Lala & Momma took the boys for a canoe ride.

They were so excited to go out in the canoe.

Reed & Chase

They loved the 'waterfall.'

Momma with her boys!

We canoed all the way to the island.  We couldn't believe how much they've fixed up the island.  Reed, Chase & Lala went out onto the pier.

Lala & Momma

Is there anything better than throwing rocks in the water.

The island had a ton of rocks, so the boys couldn't resist throwing some into the water.

Grandmomma reading a Marvel Hero book to Reed.

Chase had to show her his new Cars book too!

We had a wonderful weekend and hated to see it end!
