Reed's 1st T-Ball Game

Hernando Cubs vs. Hernando Bulldawgs
May 7, 2011

This morning, we went to Reed's first t-ball game. Reed's team is called the Hernando Cubs. We chose the #28 for him because it was my sister's birthday and Daddy's baseball number growing up. Reed & his big buddy, Gavin, are on the same team. He also has two of his classmates, Beck & Kelsey, on his team. Today, we played against his best buddy Landon's team. We weren't quite sure how Reed was going to to do today because he hasn't acted very interested in T-Ball. Well, he did FANTASTIC!!!! He has one very proud Mommy & Daddy!

Reed's biggest fan!

Reed warming up with his team.
Getting ready to catch a ground ball...
He stopped the ball every time. I was very impressed!
Throwing the ball back to his coach.
Our lil' cub!
Daddy giving Reed some last minute pointers before he went up to bat.
We've decided Reed hits the ball better left-handed.
And....he HIT the ball on his first swing!
Go Reed!!!
(Be sure to watch the videos...hilarious!)
After everyone batted, it was the Cubs turn to head out onto the field.
Reed throwing the ball back to the other team's coach.
Reed and his classmate, Kelsey.
Chase cheering for the Cubs!
Reed's second time to bat.
Again, he HITS it on his first swing! They let the kids bat in order of their numbers. Since Reed is 28, he got to bat last both times, which means he got a HOME RUN both times. He loved running all of the bases!
Reed, Kelsey & Gavin.
Reed did really good stopping the ball in the field and throwing it back to the coach.
Reed going after a ball.
After both teams got to hit twice, the game was over....just in time too because it started to rain!
Team huddle...Go Cubs!
